Here's a view of Gatineau, QC (as seen from Parliament). With summer coming, I recommend a walk behind the Library of Parliament to take in the river and the Quebec side of the region.
With that in mind, I also recommend a visit to the Museum of Civilization (seen here). The mock-up of the Vancouver International Airport, and a real fishing boat from Prince Rupert, B.C., are fairly exciting.
